In the description of the strings it says "long scale", so I assumed that they would be long enough to thread through the body. Unfortunately, they are short,...shorter than other standard strings (the length of the thick string-tapering does not reach the zero fret). Unfortunately, I unpacked the strings, one of them, the Hook, so I can't return them. Waste of money for me! If you need LONG SCALE strings, definitely don't buy these!
