The MPS-10's top panel is hard coated polycarbonate with 2mm thickness, a material that has been used in percussion instruments that require extremely high impact resistance, and will effectively protect the LCD screen even with very physical performances. The knobs use highly durable metal shafts, and the shape of the plastic cover is designed to prevent excessive force from being applied to the inside of the knob shafts or the PCB. In addition, we have done heavy duty testing and the LCD, knob shafts, and panel surfaces have been hit several hundred times per location, and no breakage or malfunction has occurred. Therefore, we believe that the durability is sufficient to prevent breakage in normal use.
