Joseph Bonamassa is an American blues rock guitarist, singer, and songwriter who began his career at just twelve years old, opening for B.B. King. Since 2000, he has released fifteen solo albums on his own label, J and R Adventures, with eleven reaching number one on the Billboard Blues chart. Widely respected for his powerful guitar playing and vast vintage gear collection, Bonamassa has collaborated with many acclaimed blues and rock musicians and has received three Grammy nominations. In 2020, he founded Keeping the Blues Alive Records to support and produce other blues artists, working with talent such as Dion, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Joanna Connor, and Larry McCray.
