G&L Tribute JB-2 Sonic Blue 4-string Bassguitar

The G&L Tribute Series JB2 in Sonic Blue is a bass guitar that combines classic Alnico single-coil tone with modern improvements by Leo Fender.

Color: Sonic Blue over Poplar
Neck Finish: Clear satin
Fingerboard: Rosewood
Pickups: Classic Alnico V single-coils, designed by Paul Gagon
Bridge: G&L Saddle-Lock with enhanced sustain and resonance
Inspiration: The design was inspired by original prints from Leo Fender’s private laboratory at G&L and refined by Paul Gagon’s analysis of '60s bolt-on basses.
Tone: Offers a tone reminiscent of the best examples from the early '60s, with clarity and sustain that surpasses old basses.
Body End-Grain: The innovative bridge transfers string energy directly into the body end-grain, resulting in a highly resonant instrument.

This bass is celebrated for its brilliant mash-up of old-school and new-school design, providing a playing experience that respects the past while embracing modern innovation. Whether you’re a fan of vintage tones or modern playability, the G&L Tribute Series JB2 is designed to impress.
