The EMG 81/85s in my 28-inch baritone have proven to be a hit. They give that classic hard kick that has worked well for years in heavy playing. The 81 holds the attack like a soldier on guard duty, and the 85 adds enough heat and meat to make you want to play longer than reason allows.
