Polar Pattern: Omnidirectional
The omnidirectional microphone is designed to pick up sound equally from all directions. Unlike directional microphones such as cardioid or supercardioid, the omnidirectional microphone has no directional bias, which means it is equally sensitive to sound coming from the front, side, and rear.
Capsule Type: Condenser
A condenser microphone is a type of microphone that uses a capacitor to pick up sound. Unlike dynamic microphones, condenser microphones require an external power supply to operate properly. This type of microphone is more sensitive to detail because its diaphragm is sensitive to very fine sound waves, making it ideal for studio recording.
