Ohio Players were a leading American funk band of the 1970s, celebrated for their energetic hits Fire and Love Rollercoaster. Their albums often featured bold, provocative covers with Playboy models, making them visually iconic as well. With popular tracks like Funky Worm and Skin Tight, and Gold-certified albums including Skin Tight, Fire, and Honey, Ohio Players left a lasting mark on funk and R and B music. In 2013, they were honored as part of the inaugural Rhythm and Blues Music Hall of Fame class in Cleveland, Ohio.
