Insane Clown Posse, or ICP, is a hip hop duo from Detroit formed in 1989, featuring members Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope. Known for their intense horrorcore style and theatrical live shows, ICP has achieved notable commercial success with two platinum and five gold albums, and over 6 million records sold in North America as of 2007. They have built a dedicated fan community called Juggalos. The group is recognized for their unique Dark Carnival mythology, which unfolds through a series of concept albums known as Joker's Cards. Beyond music, ICP founded Psychopathic Records, starred in comedy films, and launched Juggalo Championship Wrestling, further expanding their influence in entertainment and underground culture.
