Jason Charles Beck, known as Chilly Gonzales, is a Canadian musician, songwriter, and producer currently living in Cologne, Germany, with previous years spent in Paris and Berlin. Recognized for his versatility, he moves across genres from rap and pop to classical and electronic music. He is acclaimed for his Solo Piano albums, collaborations with Feist, Drake, Daft Punk, and Boys Noize, and for his project Octave Minds. In 2022, he worked with Plastikman and Tiga on a reimagined version of Consumed. Gonzales also hosts music documentaries and web series, has written opinion pieces for major publications, and is a Grammy winner for his contributions to Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories. He is the younger brother of film composer Christophe Beck.
