Roland Demora Modular Delay

Unique modular effect that combines an all-new, high-resolution delay with unprecedented control and flexibility – with a smooth, creamy sound and quick response it is as fun to tweak as it is to hear. With the massive range of delay times and buffer hold function it allows for creating anything from ultra-subtle widening to dramatic rhythmic effects. Able to be used as a tabletop unit or as a Eurorack module, and with an array of CV/Gate inputs, this compact 21 HP unit has a wide range of uses from studio production to live performance. Not only for modular synth users, it is perfect for keyboard players, guitarists, DJs or any adventurous musician looking to expand their sound. Using the large comfortable controls or standard 1/8” patch cables, user can independently control the delay time, feedback, width, wet/dry signal, delay hold and signal bypass. Both the delay time and feedback parameters have input level controls for adjusting the modulation range when controlled from an external source. Two inputs and two outputs make the unit a stereo-capable, 24-bit/96k Hz audio interface for Eurorack systems and AIRA Link USB compatibility gives it single-cable, plug and play connectivity with the Roland’s MX-1 Mix Performer. The effect also includes 15 virtual sub-modules with more available through future expansion: LFO, ADSR, NOISE, SAMPLE & HOLD, RING MOD, FILTER 6 dB, FILTER 12 dB, TONE, AMP, MIXER, STEREO MIXER, CURVE CONV, GATE DIVIDER, TRIG TO CV DELAY TIME, MIDI CLOCK TO GATE. User can fully customize the effect’s internal signal path by re-patching this array of virtual sub-modules via a custom application that works on Mac and PC as well as iOS and Android devices. Sub-modules are re-patched through a simple and intuitive drag and drop interface that even allows user to choose which parameters are assigned to the high-resolution “GRF” knobs. The unit can be reprogrammed in real-time via USB connection or save and the patches can be recalled with a simple audio signal and shared with other DEMORA users.
