Special electric guitar with ST-type body shape from James Tyler Variax series that is inspired by the look of the classical guitars but features the special Variax Control system that increases the creative potential of every player. The whole body of the instrument is made of high-quality alder wood. The bolt on solid maple neck with the special “Tyler 59” shape is fitted with a rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and dot inlays. Scale length is 647.7 mm, nut width is 41.275 mm. The guitar further features a fully adjustable Tyler-designed tremolo bridge, Graph Tech Black TUSQ XL self-lubricating nut, Sealed Locking/Staggered machine heads (16:1 ratio) and chrome-plated hardware. It is equipped with three Vintage-style single-coil pick-ups with Alnico magnets, wound to Tyler’s exact specifications, plus the L.R. Baggs Radiance Hex piezo pickup system. Sound can be controlled and adjusted via Master Volume and Tone control knobs and 5-way selector switch. The special VArix Control system offers a Model knob and Alt Tune roller knob for easy access of instrument sound and alternative tunings, a 1/4'' VDI (Variax Digital Interface) output for integration with amplifiers or multi-effect processors, USB interface and Variax Workbench software. The instrument can be powered by power adapter or lithium-ion battery (not included). A sturdy gig bag is included. Olympic White colour design.
