The products in this line are light but also robust and comfortable. Just like naked sheep, here merino wool takes a back seat and is only used in certain areas for increased comfort.

The 3L ORTLER PANTS for your alpine winter! The outer material is completely wind and waterproof thanks to the DERMIZAX®NX membrane, without compromising on breathability or freedom of movement!

The integrated and reduced gaiters as well as the Cordura protection against sharp edges will do their work even on demanding tours over rocks, ice or snow. The 3D thigh pocket offers plenty of storage space, and the bag’s integrated lightweight carabiner will secure your avalanche transceiver. Adjustable ankle cuffs and the width-adjustable waistband allow for simple and secure fitting, whilst merino mesh inserts in the waistband provide even more comfort. The 3L pants also have a continuous, two-way side zipper. This allows you to perfectly regulate the ventilation and get the ORTLER PANTS on and off quickly.

To save even more weight, the seams were welded with extra thin tapes – these reduce weight without compromising rainproofing. 3L hardshell weighs in at just 430 grams (men’s size M), making it perfect for alpine tours.
