Electro-acoustic guitar with standard dreadnought body shape with Venetian cutaway in reduced size from PRO-1 series that is easy to play, delivers the full, vibrant sound that Epiphone is known for, and provides innovative features such are JumboPRO frets or EZ-Profile neck – perfect not only for beginners but also for advanced players. Body of the instrument is made of select mahogany wood with a reduced body depth and an ivory one-layer binding, top plate is made of select spruce wood with a custom PRO-prietary bracing and a 5-layer ivory/black binding. Set-in mahogany neck features a “D” shape EZ-profile that was designed for easy chords forming without feeling fatigued, as well as a Dual-Action truss rod with white PVC cover for adjusting the neck in both directions. Rosewood fingerboard with PRO-Ease Lubricant coating (also used on strings) provides sleek, smooth action with reduced string noise, while 20 JumboPRO frets make fretting less difficult – they are taller and wider. The fingerboard also features dot inlays and a GraphTech Nubone nut with width of 42.672 mm. Reduced scale length is 628.65 mm. The instrument is further equipped with the Shadow Performer preamp and NanoFlex pickup system that can be adjusted via Master Volume, Bass EQ and Treble EQ controls and an Anti-feedback Phase button. The preamp features a built-in chromatic tuner with Tuner On/Off button (Off mutes output signal) and a low battery indicator, and is powered by two #2032 lithium batteries. The guitar further features a 1/4” Endpin jack, a sloped dove-wing headstock with historic “Epiphone” metal badge, 18:1 ratio Deluxe tuners, a rosewood bridge, a black scratch-less pickguard, a GraphTech Nubone compensated saddle, chrome hardware and strap buttons.
