Epiphone Les Paul TRIBUTE Plus Black Cherry
Product code: LPTRIBUTEBC | ID: 203885
Electric guitar that celebrates Epiphone's long friendship with innovator Les Paul, which dates back to the late '30s and early '40s when Les, working at night at the Epiphone factory on 14th St. in New York City, created one of the world's first solid-body electric guitars, “The Log.” Over the years, Les continued to work closely with Epiphone luthiers reviewing new product ideas and offering suggestions. Now, this model honours the friendship with Les by combining his classic design features with legendary Epiphone quality and value with the added feature of 4-wire Gibson USA ’57 classic humbuckers. Body of the instrument is made of mahogany and features a carved hard maple top. The vintage deep-set glued-in neck features a 1960s SlimTaper profile and is also made of mahogany. It is fitted with a rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets. Scale length is 628.65 mm, nut width is 42.672 mm and fingerboard radius is 12”. Sound can be controlled by a Switchcraft 3-way pickup selector, two Volume controls and two controls with push/pull series parallel switching. Other features include a 1-ply cream binding, a Locktone tune-o-matic bridge with Stopbar tailpiece, nickel hardware, Grover Locking Rotomatic 106 series tuners (18:1 ratio) and D’Addario strings (.010, .013, .017, .026, .036, .046).
